Since early 2020, DANA and other digital payment apps have started using QRIS. We believe that QRIS will create a more seamless and inclusive digital payment environment. Read the FAQ about QRIS below to get to know more about it.

What’s QRIS?
QRIS stands for Quick Response Code Indonesia Standard that has been regulated by Bank Indonesia through the PADG No.21/2019. To make it simple, QRIS is a single QR for all digital wallet apps. You only need one QRIS to pay from the digital payment app you preferred.

Can DANA Bisnis merchant still accept payment through Business QR?
According to Bank Indonesia regulation by 1 January 2020, all DANA Bisnis merchants need to change the Business QR to standardized QRIS. Please use the latest DANA QRIS to replace the old Business QR.

What should merchant do with the old Business QR sticker?
Since QRIS has become the new payment QR, you no longer need the old Business QR.

Why DANA Bisnis merchants need to use QRIS?
We need to start using QRIS to support Bank Indonesia's vision of creating an inclusive cashless society. When can QRIS be used?
Following Bank Indonesia regulations, QRIS is effective from 1 January 2020.

What are the benefits of using QRIS for DANA users and DANA Bisnis merchants?
You will experience easy, safer, and faster transactions. Since there’s only one QRIS for all, both DANA users and DANA Bisnis merchants will no longer need to chose and prepare too many QR for each digital payment app.

Will there be any difference in the transaction process?
Nothing’s changed! Open your DANA app, scan the QRIS code, and pay with your preferred payment method! As for DANA Bisnis merchants, there won’t be any difference in receiving payment from customers.

Why there’s only 1 QR code for merchant?
With a single QR code, you will experience more efficient and quick payment! We’ll also get more used to the digital payment environment and more familiar with digital wallet app, especially with DANA!

Where can we use and scan the QRIS belongs to the DANA Bisnis merchant?
Any digital payment app that supports QRIS will do! Let’s encourage your customers to use DANA that offers various payment methods, such as DANA Balance and card banks!

How do merchants check the QRIS payment that was done in other digital wallet apps?
Merchants only need to open the DANA Bisnis account and check it in Transaction History. Read the transaction status to make sure the transaction is successful.
