How to upgrade into a Premium DANA account?

Follow these steps within the DANA App

  • Submit a copy of your ID
  • Photo verification
  • Fill in your ID number correctly
  • Wait until the validation process is complete

Can I use the same DANA account on multiple phones?

No, one DANA account can only be used for one mobile phone.

How do I change my mobile phone number?

Your DANA ID (mobile number) can only be changed every 90 days. The number you previously used cannot be used to replace DANA ID from another number. Here's how to change your mobile number:

  • Go to DANA apps and select the 'Me' tab
  • Select 'Settings'
  • Select 'Mobile No.'
  • Tap "Change"
  • Please select the verification method you want
    • Send OTP code to the old number
    • I don't have an old number
  • Enter your DANA account PIN
  • Enter the OTP code sent via SMS to the old DANA ID number
  • Enter your new DANA ID number (your DANA ID is linked to your mobile number to verify the security of your DANA account) and tap the 'Next' button
  • Enter the OTP code sent via SMS to the new DANA ID number
  • A confirmation appears successful in changing the DANA ID number and you must re-login to your account.

What should I do if my mobile phone is lost?

Immediately contact DANA's Customer Care and request for your DANA account to be frozen.

Is a password (PIN) needed?

A DANA password (PIN) is required for transactions and securing the DANA account if your mobile phone is lost or stolen.

What should I do if I forget my DANA PIN?

If you forget your PIN number, please follow the "Change PIN" guide or follow the method below:

  • Go to DANA apps and select the 'Me' tab
  • Select 'Settings'
  • Select 'Change PIN'
  • Click the text 'Forgot your DANA PIN?'
  • Enter the OTP code you received via SMS
  • Enter your 6 (six) digit new PIN number
  • Re-enter your 6 (six) digit new PIN number
  • A confirmation appears that you have successfully changed your DANA PIN

How do I change my DANA PIN?

  • Go to DANA apps and select the 'Me' tab
  • Select 'Settings'
  • Select 'Change PIN'
  • Click the text 'Forgot your DANA PIN?'
  • Enter the OTP code you received via SMS
  • Enter your 6 (six) digit new PIN number
  • Re-enter your 6 (six) digit new PIN number
  • A confirmation appears that you have successfully changed your DANA PIN

Account blocked due to incorrect password (PIN) input

If the DANA account is blocked because you have entered an incorrect password (PIN) up to 3 times in a row, please wait for 15 minutes and your account will automatically be re-activated.

How do I close my DANA account?

For now, the option to close a DANA account has not been made available. If there is money remaining in your DANA balance, you can use it for the following services:

  • Online transactions at Bukalapak to buy e-commerce products, credit/data packages, PLN, airplane tickets, and train tickets, pay BPJS bills, water bills, and others.
  • Buy cinema tickets through the TIX-ID App.
  • Buy shopping vouchers through the Ramayana App.

What is the refund policy?

You may request a refund under the following circumstances.

  • DANA Balance top-up exceeds the specified limit.
  • Paid more than once for the same order number (except payments via VA or Minimarket).
  • Abnormal order.

How do I re-open an account that was previously frozen?
